Big man gets the 'C' while Danny Briere & Kimmo Timonen both become assistants. HOPEFULLY he's healthy come October 6th so he can start the season, but nothings a given. Does he deserve it? Of course. He's the team's best defensemen, he's been in the league the longest (17 years + a Stanley Cup victory) and is a force when called upon. Good call in my opinion.
