Flyers news & notes (6/28)

- DAH, NAH, NUH-NUH-NUH. ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Darroll Powe was traded earlier today to the Minnesota Wild for a 3rd round pick in 2013. I'm not sure why he was traded, seeing as Powe played on the fourth line and probably wouldn't ask for more than 800k a year, but that's the Flyers for ya. He's a great checker and will do wonders for Minny on the PK, but the one reason I'll miss him is because I'll never get to use this.

- Andreas Nodl (2 years, 1.69 million) & Tom Sestito (undisclosed) signed new deals.

- New player numbers were announced, so update those NHL 11 (or in my case NHL 10) rosters, kids: Kris Versteeg (#32), Brayden Schenn (#10), Jakub Voracek (#9) & Wayne Simmonds (#17). You ask why 'Steeg changed his number back to the one he had on the Leafs & 'Hawks? Becuase he's a pussy. That's why.
