Literally minutes after Tim Panaccio reported that the Flyers WOULD NOT tender an offer to restricted free agent Steven Stamkos, other Philly hockey reporter, Anthony SanFillippo tweeted the message you see above. What does this mean exactly? Could Michal Hanzus, Sami Kapanen or Simon Gagne be making a return in the city of brotherly love? Or is Homer making a play for NHL returnee Jaromir Jagr? This off-season absolutely nothing can be predicted, because so far nothing has been par for this team. Trading away their two best players, signing an actual goalie. Needless to say it's been the most exciting/interesting time to be a fan in almost a decade.
Free agency starts Friday, July 1st (tomorrow) at noon... And personally, I can't wait to see what happens next.
